ProfitTrackStar ("we," "us," or "our") is a business management application designed for craft sellers, woodworkers, 3D print sellers, and makers. When you use ProfitTrackStar with an account (Starter or Pro plans), your business data — including products, materials, orders, customers, inventory, sales, suppliers, events, and financial records — is stored securely in our cloud database (powered by Supabase) and associated with your account. This allows you to access your data from any device and keeps it safe if you switch browsers or devices.
The free tier currently operates as a local-first application, storing data in your browser's localStorage on your device only. Free tier data is not synced to our servers unless you create an account.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored as a secure hash — we never see your actual password). We use this to authenticate you and associate your business data with your account.
